Liverpool are ‘keeping a close eye’ on Jude Bellingham’s development at Borussia Dortmund but are unlikely to get the midfielder any time soon.

That’s according to SportBILD, who insist that Bellingham is ‘not considering a move’ away from the Bundesliga club at this moment in time.

Bellingham has been in fine form this season, establishing himself as a key player under new coach Marco Rose and racking up three goals and six assists so far.

That’s not gone unnoticed, and there have been several rumours about a sensational move next summer, with Liverpool apparently at the front of the queue.

Losing both players is the ‘biggest worry’ for Dortmund fans, but according to SportBILD, that’s not going to happen.

They insist that Bellingham isn’t thinking about a move away as he is ‘extremely comfortable’ where he is and is aware of his ‘outstanding sporting prospects’ with Dortmund.

He is guaranteed appearances but also a shot at titles, and that is something he is unlikely to find anywhere else at this point in his career.

There are also other reasons to stay, with Dortmund attempting to sign his younger brother Jobe and bring the Bellingham family, which is currently split, together in Germany.

That would be another reason to stick around, and neither the player, nor Dortmund are thinking about what would be a ‘premature’ parting of the ways.

Indeed, they intend to keep Bellingham for as long as possible, with the chance of him and Haaland leaving next summer next to zero. Liverpool, it seems, will have to wait if they really want to get their man.
