FC Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira is constantly being linked to clubs from abroad, without much ever happening with it. Despite no spectacular attributes, his consistency in midfield makes him very important to the team, always attracting the eyes of foreign scouts.

Arsenal have been said to be interested in him for a while, and on Tuesday, the Gunners are joined by two other big clubs in the race: Juventus and Liverpool.

Newspaper Correio da Manhã has a story saying Danilo should be leaving Porto in the summer, and Arsenal, Liverpool, and Juventus are named are the clubs who could get him.

They don’t have many details on the chase, and only claim that Arsenal were the first to make contact in January, expressing their will to sign the 25-year-old.

In the same month, Danilo had his contract renewed, and the release clause went from €40m to €60m. Correio da Manhã doesn’t say how much will Porto demand, but a battle between the three clubs mentioned would be very welcome, if unlikely.
