The Italian media has been full of stories about Daichi Kamada. The 26-year-old is reported to have an agreement with AC Milan following his departure from Eintracht Frankfurt as a free agent, and his move to the Serie A giants is seen as a matter of details.

It turns out that as CalcioMercato.it today features an update on that chase, they claim that Liverpool and other interested clubs continue the pursuit of him, as difficult as it may look.

The outlet claims to be sure that Kamada already said yes to Milan and is ready to sign a four-year contract with the Rossoneri.

Still, the chase from Liverpool ‘continues’. The Reds, along with Atletico Madrid, Benfica and Borussia Dortmund, are all capable of offering the midfielder more money than the Italian side.

That’s a reason why Milan should get concerned. Their deal with Kamada is said to be ‘effectively closed’, but until he actually sits down to sign the contract, they can’t confirm that the battle is won.

So the report says the Rossoneri ‘have not yet lost hope’ of beating Liverpool and others for the Japanese, and expect things to be done by the start of the next week.
