Liverpool have become the latest club to join the chase for Torino star Samuele Ricci.
The midfielder has starred for the Serie A side and his fine displays this season have seen several clubs take notice.
La Stampa, relayed by L’interista, state Liverpool are added to the growing list of interested clubs.
As well as Arne Slot’s side, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Manchester City are credited with an interest in the 23-year-old. The website’s title name three clubs and add another ‘super big club are in the running’ to sign Ricci.
Apart from the Serie A duo and the Premier League winners, Liverpool are the only other club mentioned within the report. In other words, the Reds are ‘in the running’ to secure the Italy international’s services.
Inter have a concrete interest, while Milan have already made efforts to try and sign him next summer. Manchester City are also in the picture and Liverpool have now joined the chase for the sought after player.
That’s because Ricci can operate across multiple midfield positions and can still improve his game. The increase in the suitors has also seen his price tag already go beyond €30m, which would be within Liverpool’s reach.
