Manchester City have been linked with a move for Juventus’ Andrea Cambiaso in the last two months but it now seems Liverpool and Arsenal have also joined the race for the Italian.

The Citizens were quite keen on the defender in January but a move didn’t go through due to the English champions’ decision to sign Nico Gonzalez from Porto.

Tuttomercatoweb’s Niccolo Ceccarini has reported that while Manchester City are still interested in the Italy international, Liverpool are ‘in particular’ offering stiff competition.

Even though there is the concrete liking from Bayern Munich, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are also a potential candidate to land Cambiaso in the summer.

Ceccarini believes that the 24-year-old’s future in Turin is uncertain and is worth monitoring.

He has also reported Arsenal and Liverpool will have to pay a fee of €65m to land the left-back, who can also play at right-back, on the wings and in midfield.

Back in the winter transfer window, there was an indication from the Italian press that Juventus want to spark an auction for Cambiaso and that is probably why more Premier League clubs are being linked with the Azzurri star.
