Liverpool have become the latest club to be credited with interest in Lille star Jonathan David.
The striker’s deal expires at the end of this season and his future seems to be away from the Ligue 1 side. He’s already ended up on the radar of several clubs and Liverpool are added to this list.

The Serie A side have been wanting the 24-year-old for a while and face competition from Juventus and other clubs.
The Old Lady have been working on renewing Dušan Vlahović’s contract for some time. If Juve were to extend Vlahović’s contract, their technical director, Cristiano Giuntoli, could give up chasing David.
This would bring him closer towards the Nerazzurri, who have already opened talks with his entourage. The report says it’s not given David will end up at the San Siro because of the ‘strong interest’ shown by Liverpool and Barcelona.
InterLive.it state it ‘will not be easy’ for the Italian champions to beat the Reds and the La Liga side to sign David. He’ll have to make a decision on his future in the coming months.
The frontman, who managed 26 goals and nine assists last season, has eight goals and two assists from 14 games this season.
