There’s no denying that Erling Haaland is one of the best strikers currently out there, and that’s despite him barely being in his 20s.
Borussia Dortmund are aware of this, which is why they want to keep him for as long as possible, but a clause in his current contract could make that rather difficult.
That means there’s a strong possibility he could leave the German club this summer, with Liverpool a potential destination for him if they decide to trigger the €75m or so needed to get him.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who look at where a lot of players could end up in the coming months, with the Reds thrown into contention for the Norwegian star.
Not only that, but they kindly give us a pie chart with percentages, letting us know that the French have a 50% chance of getting their man, while the other two, including Jürgen Klopp’s side, are split at 25%.
Considering the need at Anfield for an out and out striker, a move for Haaland would certainly make sense, but it also will all depend on where the player sees himself playing next, having conquered the Bundesliga with ease.
Will it be the Premier League? We’ll have to wait and see.
