Liverpool are planning a ‘mission to Italy’ once the January transfer window has closed, to talk over deals for Paulo Dybala and Milan Skriniar.
That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who say the Reds are planning a trip to Italy next month for the Juventus and Inter Milan stars.
They explain that Liverpool have ‘closed the current transfer window’ after finalising the deal for Luis Diaz from Porto, but are planning ‘concrete moves’ in February for the summer transfer window.
‘Emissaries’ from Liverpool are ‘expected to arrive’ in Italy next month to ‘establish contacts’ with Juventus star Dybala.
His contract is set to expire in June of this year, leaving the 28-year-old free to negotiate a free transfer from this month, and Liverpool are seemingly keen to take advantage of that.
He’s not their only target, though, with Inter Milan ‘mainstay’ Milan Skriniar also reportedly on their list.
Unlike Dybala, he has another 18 months remaining on his contract with the Nerazzurri, but he will be entering the final year of his deal in the summer, and that could force Inter Milan into a sale.
Liverpool are seemingly keen and want to hold talks with the player about a potential move to Anfield, with a double swoop on Serie A for him and Dybala apparently in their plans once this window officially closes.
