After being one of the stars of Euro 2016, Portugal international Renato Sanches has found his chances at Bayern Munich very limited, and has openly talked about an exit.
The Bundesliga champions have repeatedly stated that he is available to other clubs, even if at the moment it would be preferably on a season long loan.
Sport Bild claim Sanches is on radar of three big clubs, including Liverpool. Sport Bild believe Sanchez may be a perfect Anfield alternative for Naby Keita, who was been Liverpool’s No. 1 target during the summer, as Jurgen Klopp looks to bring in a midfielder.
However, also according to SportBild, Klopp’s willingness to sign Sanches could be diminished by the option of a loan deal only, which doesn’t seem to be so attractive for Liverpool.
The idea of Klopp wanting Sanches is one easily accepted by the German media, but him providing a finishing school and sending the player back to Bayern Munich as a more rounded product, doesn’t seem to fit so well.
Should Bayern change their mind and accept a permanent deal, then Liverpool would likely find tougher competition for the player’s signing.
