Gleison Bremer’s explosion at Torino this season saw him earn a new contract in February and also attract attention from clubs in Italy and across Europe.
Liverpool have been credited with an interest in the centre-back in the past week or so.
On April 11th, claims from both the Brazilian and the Italian media stated the Reds ‘want to sign’ the 25-year-old in the summer. It was also explained the Merseyside club would like to submit an offer to secure his signature.
Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan are keen on acquiring the defender’s services in the next window and they seem to have taken steps to do it.
According to Sport Mediaset journalist Marco Barzaghi, relayed by FcInter1908.it, the Serie A winners have found an agreement in principle with the Brazilian’s entourage.
The Nerazzurri have to now find an agreement with Torino to seal the deal. That will not be easy because ‘there is a great deal of competition from English teams, Liverpool above all’, and also from Serie A sides.
In addition to this, Inter will have to allow one of their own players to leave before going through with a deal.
This may not be the case for Jürgen Klopp’s side, and it could give Liverpool an edge over Inter in the race to sign Bremer.
