Already touted  as a target for both Liverpool and Chelsea during the summer transfer window, Sander Berge continues to be followed by the Premier League pair.

That’s according to Jeunes Footeux, who appear to have their own information on the Sheffield United star, who is currently having a season to remember with the Blades in the Championship.

The Norwegian has three goals and three assists in 10 league appearances to date, and while many expected to leave over the summer, his club appeared to stand firm.

They know he would be important to whatever hopes they had of making it back to the Premier League, and they were right, as he has helped Sheffield United top the table with 23 points from a possible 30 to date.

Whether they end up back in the top tier remains to be seen, but that isn’t stopping Liverpool and Chelsea, alongside Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona, being ‘very attentive’ to the Norway international’s performances.

In fact, ‘it wouldn’t be surprising for offers to arrive on the table’ at Sheffield United during the January transfer window.

It’s made clear the midfielder doesn’t have an exit pass with the Championship side, but if Liverpool, Chelsea or any other club were to make ‘an offer of €35-40m’, then it could be enough to ‘win the prize’.

For those wondering, Jeunes Footeux have a bit of a history when it comes to Sander Berge, covering with their own information the times when Arsenal were keen during his first season at the club.
