According to Russian website Sport.ru, former Spartak Moscow attacker Quincy Promes could join either Liverpool or Chelsea in the next summer transfer window.
The Dutch winger joined Ajax from Sevilla at the start of the season for €15.7m, and Sport.ru claim he’s attracting interest from the two Premier League giants.
Promes impressed during his spell with Spartak Moscow and was linked with a move to Liverpool when he was playing for the Russian side.
However, he instead signed for Sevilla but failed to prove himself during his time in Spain. Subsequently he returned to the Netherlands in order to get his career back on track.
The Russian website also claim Ajax will demand at least €40m from the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool if the 28 year old leaves at the end of the season.
Promes has made 25 appearances for Ajax in all competitions this season, scoring 15 goals. His contract with the Amsterdam side will expire at the end of June 2024.
