Liverpool have a ‘better chance’ of signing Jude Bellingham than Manchester City in the future because he is a ‘very emotional player’.

That’s according to BILD journalist Sebastien Kolsberger, who believes the midfielder will end up in the Premier League at some point.

Bellingham is one of the rising stars of European football, having continued his rapid development at Borussia Dortmund since joining in a £22.5m deal from Birmingham City in July 2020.

He’s now an established star for the Bundesliga side and a member of the England squad, with 12 appearances to his name since his debut in November 2020.

The future is extremely bright for the 18-year-old, who is already being courted by the big clubs around Europe.

Liverpool have regularly been linked over the last year, with the latest report indicating that Jurgen Klopp is a big fan and has targeted him for a move to Anfield.

Manchester City, meanwhile, are yet to be linked, but that will likely change in the future if Bellingham continues to shine in the coming years.

Kolsberger insists they are keen on him, although they are unlikely to win the race against their fierce rivals.

“Jude is one of the future stars of the midfield, and all clubs want him,” he told Bernabeu Digital.

“I think after a few years in Germany, he will return to England. Liverpool and Manchester City also want to sign him.

“But Jude is a very emotional player, which is why I think Liverpool have a better chance of signing him.”
