Red Bull Salzburg took Karim Adeyemi from lower division German side SpVgg Unterhaching in 2018 and he’s currently playing for their feeder club FC Liefering in the second tier of Austrian football.
Since the start of last season, the 17-year-old has scored 11 goals and registered five assists in 30 league appearances for Liefering. His performances have attracted top clubs across Europe.
According to Transfer Market, Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona are keen on the youngster. He scored against the Reds in Red Bull Salzburg’s UEFA Youth League defeat last month.
The Champions League winners and the Gunners are only mentioned in the report’s headline as it’s stated the two English sides are ‘interested’ in the youngster.
No additional details are mentioned regarding Liverpool and Arsenal as the report focuses on Barcelona and their ‘very concrete’ interest in the teenager.
It’s claimed the La Liga winners have already tabled a first offer of €15m offer for Adeyemi, which was turned down.
