As Liverpool’s interest in Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira continues to be pushed by the Portuguese media, it now looks like a double deal could be on the table for these clubs.

Newspaper Correio da Manhã today features a story saying the Dragons’ midfielder is getting closer to leaving the club this summer.

Besides the fact he’s getting big attention following his good performances in the U21 Euros, the player has been turning down contacts to extend his deal, which expires next year.

The outlet points out that agent Pini Zahavi, who has a partnership with Vieira’s agent Marcelo Cipriano, has been receiving ‘some approaches’ for the youngster, and one of them comes from Liverpool.

Correio da Manhã claims a deal with the Reds could include the transfer of Marko Grujic, who’s spent the last season on loan at Porto and is now on their wish-list for a new move. This is a case which the local media has been following closely, as the Portuguese side seems to be struggling with his price.

It’s said Vieira has a release clause of €30m, but could end up leaving the Dragons this summer for only €20m, which looks like a bargain for a player with his potential.

Meanwhile, we see newspaper Jornal de Notícias claiming Liverpool are demanding €17m for Grujic’s sale. So it looks like it wouldn’t be hard for the Reds to lineup a deal which makes everyone happy.
