Chelsea and Liverpool will need to ‘dig deep into their pockets’ for Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson if they want him this summer.

That’s according to Fussball News, who report that the German club want €60m if they are to sell at any point.

They report that the midfielder may be about to take the next step after impressing again for Frankfurt this season and there is an acceptance that he could be on his way, even if they qualify for the Champions League.

That’s because the Premier League, namely Chelsea and Liverpool on this occasion, are interested in him and if they come knocking then a departure is likely.

However, anyone who wants to sign the midfielder ‘will have to pay a lot of money’ and Fussball News have learned that Eintracht have set the asking price at €60m.

They firmly believe that Larsson could be a player who is worth in the region of €100m in the coming years as there are few players with his profile and skillset on the market.

Larsson himself has admitted to his own big plans and his performances under Dino Toppmöller have certainly put him on the radar.

Indeed, the belief is that he will be ‘one of the hottest stocks’ on the market in the summer but if Chelsea or Liverpool want him, they’ll have to pay big.
