Fiorentina star Dušan Vlahović is on the radar of Liverpool.
That’s what Sport Mediaset are reporting as the Merseyside club are added to the ‘list of suitors’ for the 21-year-old.
The striker has enjoyed a good run with La Viola as he has a 20 goal involvement [17 goals and three assists] in the league this term.
Jürgen Klopp’s side have taken note of Vlahović’s impressive form for the Serie A side, but acquiring his services in the summer won’t be easy because Fiorentina chairman Rocco Commisso will ask around €60m for his prized asset.
Journalist Niccolò Ceccarini, writing in today’s column for TuttoMercatoWeb, partly echoes claims made by Sport Mediaset.
According to Ceccarini, the Serbia international’s valuation is set at €60m. The Italian club would prefer to retain the frontman, but there hasn’t been any progress on the renewal front. His contract runs down in 2023.
In the event there’s no extension, Fiorentina could be ‘forced to consider’ the possibility of a sale in the upcoming window.
When talking about the suitors, the Reds get a mention. The journalist explains Liverpool are one of the parties, along with AS Roma, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, ‘interested’ in Vlahović.
