Juventus’ Arthur Melo has emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal and West Ham United.

The midfielder has been out on loan since the start of the 2022/23 season and is currently at Fiorentina. He’s been a regular under Vincenzo Italiano this season, managing two assists from 37 games in all competitions.

His performances have drawn the attention of Arsenal and West Ham, according to Tutto Juve.

It’s claimed the two London clubs ‘like him’ and the Turin side are ready to provide them a chance to secure the 27-year-old’s services in the summer window.

Due to financial reasons, Fiorentina are unlikely to exercise the purchase option to make Arthur’s stay permanent and he will have to return to the Turin club at the end of this season. The Brazilian has no future with the Old Lady, who are hoping to cash in €20m from his sale in the summer.

With Arsenal and West Ham liking the South American, Juventus are looking for a club in the Premier League.

Last season, Arthur was on loan at Liverpool and injuries restricted him to make only one appearance for the Reds. Both Arsenal and West Ham United could consider opening their doors for the player to return to the Premier League in the next window.

Despite Arthur’s season at Liverpool being something of a flop, he’s done really well at Fiorentina and is worth considering, especially if a loan with option deal could be agreed.
