Wylan Cyprien of Nice is in ‘contact with Everton’, according to a claim in France today.
Three hours ago, Yahoo Sport France tweeted the midfielder is in contact with the Toffees, but so far they don’t have anything else to add.
The tweet also states the 24-year-old is liked by clubs in the Premier League, but apart from that, there’s no additional details to suggest if there is any possibility of him joining Everton in the summer transfer window.
In the past, there were rumours about interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, but speaking to Onze Mondial last month, the player stressed it’s only speculation and he’s held no concrete talks.
The Guadeloupe born player moved to France as a youngster and joined Paris FC in 2006, he then moved to Lens where he made it as a professional.
In 2016 he moved to Nice and has impressed enough there to receive interest from several clubs.
He’s represented France at U16, U18, U19 and U21 level.
Cyprien made 29 appearances in the league last season, scoring four goals and registering two assists in the process.
