Colombian star Juan Cuadrado has been strongly linked with a return to Juventus over the past few months. After being left out of Antonio Conte’s plans for the season, Cuadrado is expected to seal a move away from the London club.
There has been some delay and the reason isn’t too clear, but latest reports suggest Chelsea are ready to offload the Colombian. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, there are positive signs as Chelsea have opened the negotiations for Cuadrado’s return to Juventus for the first time.
It’s reported nothing has been agreed yet, but all parties are negotiating. Gazzetta, however, suggest negotiations will be on Chelsea’s terms.
Gazzetta’s headline also suggests Chelsea are open to a sale (There is light: ‘Now Chelsea open to sale’), whilst Juventus are ready to wrap up any possible deal.
The 28-year-old hasn’t featured for Chelsea so far this season, and has another three years left on his contract.
