On January 20th, we covered various reports coming out of Italy on the Christian Eriksen saga.
Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport both reported the Nerazzurri have no intention of paying more than €15m initially, while Tottenham Hotspur are demanding €20m.
FcInterNews also echoed these claims and they stated the overall deal will be worth €18m, which will include bonuses.
The same website now brings the latest update and they claim the Denmark international’s agent Martin Schoots has been in London to hold talks with Spurs.
He presented Inter’s offer of €15m plus €3m in bonuses. However, the north London club’s chairman, Daniel Levy ‘asks for more’.
According to the report, ‘bonuses could play a decisive role’ for the transfer to take shape and therefore, Antonio Conte’s side propose bonuses of €3m (easy to achieve) plus €2m (complex ones) to please Levy and his club.
Inter are making a final effort to bring Eriksen to the San Siro and Conte wants the player in the next few days.
