You might have heard some stories that Everton, fully aware of how well Moise Kean is doing at Paris Saint-Germain, were prepared to ask for €80m to make the move permanent.
The young striker was loaned out to the Ligue 1 champions for the season by Carlo Ancelotti’s side following a rather disappointing first campaign in a blue shirt, and he’s enjoyed himself.
Among the most efficient scorers in Ligue 1 and fresh off a great performance against Barcelona under new manager Mauricio Pochettino, the Everton loanee’s stock is high, but is it really €80m high?
According to former Paris Saint-Germain player Eric Rabesandratana, the answer is simply a no.
Speaking on French radio station France Bleu, he gave his two cents on the story.
He said, relayed by Sport.fr: “I really like Moise Kean, he’s a formidable player. I like his commitment for the team, his state of mind. Starter or a sub, he plays with the same determination, the same efficiency. Whether it’s through a goal, an assist or his effort. It’s simple, he’ll never stop. He works defensively, he helps the team. I’m a real fan of Moise Kean. He was omnipresent on Tuesday.
“It’s a really good find by Leonardo, but it’s not going to be easy to keep him because his price has apparently been put at €80m by Everton… That’s a bunch of crap! I really like Moise Kean, but €80m, let’s not exaggerate. Especially when his market value is at around €30m. It won’t be easy to get a transfer, but I hope we’ll try to do something”.
Since arriving in Paris, the 20-year-old has scored 10 goals in 18 Ligue 1 games for Paris Saint-Germain, with a total of 14 in 26 appearances in all competitions.
