Queens Park Rangers sporting director Les Ferdinand is keen to sign Besiktas attacker Georges Kevin N’koudou, reports Turkish website Fotospor.

The Championship club are reportedly in the market for a winger and they’ve identified the former Tottenham Hotspur player as a target.

Ferdinand, who had a spell at Besiktas during his playing days, is said to be behind the pursuit of then forward, and QPR are ready to offer €3.5m, plus bonuses, to the Super Lig side.

Besiktas paid €4.5m to Tottenham to sign the French winger last summer, but his debut season in Turkey wasn’t a very convincing one. The former Marseille man struggled with injuries and managed to score just three league goals in 26 appearances.

He’s been closely linked with a move to Greek giants Olympiacos in recent weeks, and Besiktas could decide to move him on before the window closes. They could also offload him due to their poor financial situation.

N’Koudou’s contract with the Black Eagles will expire at the end of June 2023.
