According to Turkish newspaper Takvim, Queens Park Rangers sporting director Les Ferdinand has advised Bright Osayi-Samuel to move to Fenerbahce, with the Yellow Canaries heavily interested in signing the player.
Osayi-Samuel has been linked with a move to Fener over the past week.
It’s reported Ferdinand, who played in Turkey with Besiktas during his playing career, has told the 22 year old moving to the country would be good for his development.
Along with Fenerbahce, Takvim claim five other clubs are interested in signing the QPR attacker, but the Turkish side are said to be leading the race.
Fenerbahce board member Selahattin Baki, who was at Sheffield United before he moved to the Turkish club, is reportedly good friends with QPR board member Lee Hoos, and that’s also strengthening Fenerbahce’s hand in this possible deal.
Osayi-Samuel has made 28 appearances for Mark Warburton’s side this season, scoring five goals and providing eight assists. His contract at Loftus Road will expire at the end of June 2021.
