If there’s one team who have impressed more than anyone else in the Euros, it’s Italy.
The combination of their solid defence, robust midfield and explosive attack has forced both Turkey and Switzerland to capitulate, and Domenico Berardi, currently at Sassuolo, has been at the heart of it all.
With two assists in two games, the right-winger has been a danger man for Italy, so it’s not entirely surprising to see Leicester City and Tottenham interested in his services.
Both the Foxes and Spurs have been mentioned by Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday as interested parties for the forward, who could be on his way out from Sassuolo.
If Tottenham or Leicester want him, however, they will have to pay around €50m, which is the price the Serie A side are expecting to receive from suitors this summer.
Not only that, but both Jon Rudkin and Fabio Paratici will have to contend with alleged competition from Liverpool, who could lose Mohamed Salah sooner rather than later.
While none of them have made any offers just yet, it’s stated they ‘could arrive shortly’.
