Loaned from Inter to Lorient for the season, Andreaw Gravillon was a key member of the Ligue 1 side as they managed to avoid relegation back down to Ligue 2.
The centre-back started 26 out of a possible 30 games in the league, scoring one goal and getting two assists, excelling in the role and attracting a lot of attention from the Premier League.
Foot Mercato are the ones reporting in on Tuesday, claiming that Leicester City, Southampton F.C. and Crystal Palace are all interested in the 23-year-old.
It’s explained the Foxes, the Saints and the Eagles have all ‘manifested themselves’ for the centre-back, but face some competition within France, as Marseille, Montpellier, Stade Rennais and Saint-Etienne are all ‘discussing with the young player’s entourage’.
Not only that, Real Betis, FC Copenhagen, Anderlecht and Olympiakos have also expressed their interest to Inter, where he is contracted until 2023.
It’s worth pointing out that Lorient have the option to make the move permanent, but it remains to be seen if they can afford it with their current finances.
That could open the door to the likes of Leicester, Southampton and Crystal Palace, who shouldn’t have too much worry meeting Inter’s asking price, whatever it is.
Gravillon seemingly doesn’t have a future under Antonio Conte, and with the player is searching for stability, a permanent move to either the King Power Stadium, Selhurst Park or even St Mary’s could be exactly what’s needed for him.
He would get to play under very good managers in Brendan Rodgers or Ralph Hasenhüttl, but with Roy Hodgson leaving Palace, whoever comes in might have different targets.
Either way, Gravillon is a wanted man.
