Leicester City are among several clubs in the mix to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Mahmoud Dahoud in the summer.
The midfielder’s deal expires in June and the German club’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, has already confirmed the player will leave as a free agent after this season.
This has alerted several clubs across Europe, including Leicester, according to Sky Deutschland.
These clubs have asked about the player, with some even sending written offers. The journalist doesn’t make it clear whether Leicester have made a proposal to him.
There are other interested clubs and this is when Arsenal, AS Roma, AC Milan, Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Atlético Madrid are mentioned.
As it stands, Leicester, Sevilla, Betis and Napoli seem to be ahead of the other six clubs in the race to sign Dahoud.
Dahoud has featured six times in the league this season and that includes three substitute appearances in 2023.
