At the end of May, we relayed claims made in Belgium Liverpool have included Leicester City star Youri Tielemans in their summer transfer list.
Earlier this year, the midfielder confirmed talks with the Foxes over an extension, but also stressed he wasn’t in a hurry to make a decision since he has two more years left on his contract.
After representing Belgium at the Euros, the 24-year-old has now resumed training with the Premier League side, and according to Het Laatste Nieuws, Leicester have not receive any concrete bids for the former AS Monaco so far.
Not that it matters, since he’s considered ‘unsellable’ for Brendan Rodgers.
Regarding the extension, it’s said the FA Cup winners are ‘still hoping for a breakthrough’ with the player over a new deal.
As per the newspaper, the English club want to build a team around Tielemans.
HLN also provide a short update on Tielemans’ compatriot, Dennis Praet, who struggled with injuries and was also left on the bench at the end of last season.
Unlike Tielemans, however, it’s claimed Praet can leave Leicester if they receive a ‘good offer’.
