Leicester City have reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for Demarai Gray to join them before deadline day.
That’s according to Sky Sports Germany, who say the winger already has an agreement over his contract with the German side.
Gray is out of contract at the King Power Stadium this summer and, having fallen out of favour under Brendan Rodgers this season, has been linked with a move away from the club this month.
Leverkusen are keen on his signature and have been locked in negotiations over a deal, with reports yesterday stating that the two sides were struggling to find a price they both agreed on.
They have now found an agreement, according to Sky, who say that Leicester have agreed to let Gray go for €3m.
They report that the ‘papers are currently being prepared’ for the transfer to go through, with Gray having already settled on his contract terms.
If everything goes smoothly from here on out, the winger will travel to Germany from Leicester this weekend to finalise the transfer before Monday’s deadline.
