Leicester City’s attempt to sign Robin Gosens from Atalanta is probably one of the hottest topics in the transfer market right now, as the Foxes don’t look like waiting until the end of the season to make their moves.

Back on Thursday, a couple of Italian outlets stated Brendan Rodgers’ side are in advanced talks to sign the left-back, with claims of a €25m bid for him.

Now it’s time for the German media to join the discussion, with Bild journalist Christian Falk bringing the latest news from Gosens’ homeland.

The reporter claims ‘it’s true’ that Leicester City are chasing the 26-year-old, as the club are ‘desperate for a left-back’.

Now despite confirming that the Foxes are negotiating and ‘getting on very well there’, Falk points out that there’s competition for the signing, since Inter Milan are ‘very interested’ in the player as well.

He says the fight for the signing should be ‘close’, so Leicester City should probably do their best in this final stretch of negotiations with Atalanta.

Falk doesn’t say how much the Foxes are offering, or what the Italian side are demanding for Gosens’ transfer.
