Sabah report Leicester City are the first Premier League club to have made an offer to sign Domagoj Vida from Besiktas.
Vida has impressed for Croatia during their first two World Cup matches and his impressive block during the closing stages of the against Argentina proved pivotal for his country.
According to Sabah, Leicester City have offered €12m to sign the 27-year old but Besiktas president Fikret Orman thinks he could sell Vida for a higher price if his good form continues in the World Cup.
Earlier this week we covered reports from the Turkish press that Everton, West Ham and Fulham are in the mix to sign Vida, and it seems Leicester City are trying to get ahead of their Premier League rivals.
Vida joined Besiktas on a free transfer in January but has been unable to nail down a regular starting spot at Besiktas.
After the sale of Dusko Tosic, the Besiktas board had been expected to keep Vida but may change their mind if they receive big offers.
