Leicester City star Wesley Fofana has shared his ‘dream’ of making a move to Marseille at some point in his career.

The defender joined the Foxes from Saint Etienne in October 2020, having previously worked his way up through the French club’s youth ranks.

He’s established himself as a key player at the King Power Stadium, with a series of impressive performances for Leicester last season earning him plenty of admirers.

At just 20 years old, it’s felt the Frenchman has an extremely bright future in front of him, with several big European sides all reportedly keen on the Leicester man as it is.

Where he ends up remains to be seen, with the focus at the minute on returning from a fractured fibula and re-establishing himself for the Foxes.

It seems he has one major goal for the future, though, and that is to turn out for his boyhood club Marseille.

“OM will always be a dream,” RMC Sport report him saying.

“I’m not sure what will happen in my career; I don’t know, I can’t know.

“But it will always be a dream because it’s my city. It’s my club, the one I supported as a kid, and I still support.

“When I watch OM matches, I’m like a fan, I shout, I sing, that’s how it is, it’s my club. But between what I want and what I could do, I can’t know, so we’ll see.”
