Bologna have been linked with a move for Leicester City defender Yohan Benalouane following his disastrous spell with Fiorentina last season. Since returning to Leicester City in the summer the Tunisian has been frozen out by Claudio Ranieri.
TMW have revealed Bologna coach Roberto Donadoni is keen to bring in Benalouane as a replacement for Marios Oikonomou. The Greek international looks set to leave the Serie A side, but a deal with Benalouane is unlikely to be straight forward.
Leicester City have apparently demanded €1.3m from Bologna to take the 29-year-old on loan until the end of the season, but the Italian side are only prepared to offer half of this.
Bologna are also not prepared to have an obligation of redemption written into any deal after the loan spell ends, which is not what Leicester City will want. The player has yet to play a game for the Premier League champions this season, and subsequently they will want to offload him on a permanent deal.
Bologna interest in Yohan Benalouane was first reported on Friday by Gazzetta dello Sport.
