Leicester City scouts have been working hard in the North of Portugal lately.
They started the season watching Porto’s friendly against Getafe. Then last weekend, they scouted Braga’s game against Moreirense.
Now it was time to keep an eye on Porto again, this time in a Champions League clash against Russian side Krasnodar.
It’s A Bola who reports the Foxes’ presence at the Estádio do Dragão, although they don’t say if the emissaries had a specific player to take notes of.
And it wasn’t really a great night for the Dragons. Krasnodar managed to get an heroic 3-2 win, and since the first leg in Russia was tied 3-3, they qualified for the next stage.
Krasnodar opened last night’s score with Tony Vilhena, and then Magomed Suleymanov was responsible for the other two. Porto’s goals were scored by José Luís and Luiz Dias.
The game was also attended by scouts from Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Everton, Bournemouth, Southampton, Watford, Milan, Atalanta, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, Saint Etienne, Montpellier, Rennes and Olympiacos.
