Leicester City are prepared to offload star forward Jamie Vardy in the summer window, according to claims in Spain. The England international has recently returned to form after a relatively poor season, but Leicester City’s owners will still listen to offers for the player.

Sport have today reported Vardy will be sold by the Premier League champions due to concerns over his attitude. The Leicester City leaders are still unhappy about his role in the eventual sacking of former manager Claudio Ranieiri, and unlike last summer when they fought to keep the England international away from Arsenal, this time no huge fight will be put up.

Vardy was one of the players given a bumper new deal, but has struggled to justify it.

What would a Spanish newspaper know about Leicester City’s transfer intentions with Jamie Vardy? Who knows, but Sport have gone big on this and clearly believe what they say.
