Davide Lorenzo’s dream to make it in football, and at Leicester City, isn’t one he’s going to let go of so easily.
Given a chance by the club having dropped out of professional football and being a waiter in Nice, Lorenzo was handed a trial at the Foxes and Claude Puel spoke about the player in December.
At the time the manager seemed more interested in the nice back story than the player potentially being of use to him, and suggested that a loan move could be a good idea for the 24 year old.
He’s had opportunities to take that chance during the winter market, with TMW claiming there’s been three offers for the left sided player.
Those have come from Bradford City, Plymouth and Stevenage, but Lorenzo isn’t keen on a transfer.
For the rest of the season he’d prefer to work ‘between the first and second team’ at Leicester, and will then make a decision on his future in the summer.
