Leicester City’s Caleb Okoli was linked with an exit from the club in the January transfer window.
Cagliari and Parma were interested in a move for the Italian, whose agent had also confirmed that negotiations were held about a transfer away from the King Power only months after his arrival at Leicester City.
Okoli ended up staying with Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side but his future is still uncertain.
TVPlay have reported there is now interest from AC Milan, who see the centre-back as a ‘favourable opportunity’ for the summer transfer window.
The report provides a background about Okoli’s situation, revealing that Napoli were offered a chance to sign the 23-year-old, but it was Parma who came closest to signing him.
The possibility of a summer exit is still a possibility and the belief is if Leicester City are relegated this can ‘bring the move closer’ for Milan, who see his valuation as another favourable aspect.
Okoli is currently valued at €10m by the Foxes, who has featured in the last two Premier League games.
