A Spor’s Trabzonspor reporter Yunus Emre Sel has reported, as covered by Fotomac, Leicester City’s Fousseni Diabate will arrive in today arrive in Turkey ahead of his imminent move to the Super Lig club.
Yesterday it was reported that Karadeniz Firtinasi were on the verge of signing the Leicester City winger after reaching an agreement with the Foxes.
Sel reports Trabzonspor’s scouting team identified the 24 year old as a target, and his versatility played a key role in their decision to pursue him.
Diabate had a loan spell during the second half of 2018/19 season at Sivasspor, during which he impressed. He made 17 appearances for the Super Lig side, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
Following his performances, he was linked with a return to Turkey, but Leicester City decided to send him out on loan to French side Amiens last season.
