Benevento are close to acquiring the services of Leicester City’s Bartosz Kapustka.
Italian website Calcio Mercato claims the Serie B outfit is ‘very close’ to landing the Polish international on a loan deal and he’s one step away from making a switch to the Stadio Ciro Vigorito.
Calcio Mercato are not the only source to report about the 21-year-old’s move to join Cristian Bucchi’s side. According to Sky Italia, the player has already arrived in Italy and is currently at Villa Stuart to undergo his medical.
Benevento will play in the second division of the Italian football after being relegated from the country’s top flight club competition last season. For Kapustka, this will be another loan spell since joining the Foxes from in 2016.
Last summer, Kapustka joined SC Freiburg on a loan deal with an option to buy him on a permanent transfer. The German club has decided against taking the option and the situation has seen the Premier League club allow him to join Benevento.
