Turkish newspaper Aksam report Leicester City will contact Fenerbahce with regards to signing Vedat Muriqi in this window.
The 26 year old has been linked with a move away from the club since the start of the season, and it’s reported Leicester have now entered the race.
Muriqi has also been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion in recent weeks, with claims their manager Slaven Bilic is keen to sign the attacker.
However, Aksam claim Leicester City are also interested in signing Muriqi and they want to open talks with Fenerbahce.
The Istanbul side could be forced to sell their star player to fund their own incoming transfers, and they value him in the region of €20m, as previously reported in the Turkish media.
Muriqi has scored 17 goals and provided 6 assists for Fenerbahce in all competitions this season. His contract with the Yellow Canaries will expire at the end of June 2023.
