Portuguese newspaper O Jogo today has more details about Spartak Moscow’s chase for Leicester City midfielder Adrien Silva.

On Tuesday night, the outlet had already reported the offer from the Russian side on their website, and now it’s time for their printed edition to bring more information.

It’s claimed that Adrien Silva is currently ‘studying’ the offer he has from Spartak, and could be a ‘short step’ from making the move.

The player is said to be considering ‘other scenarios’, but the move to Russia is now one of the ‘strong possibilities’ for his future.

It’s said that Adrien Silva even thought of returning to Sporting, who he left when joining Leicester City back in 2017, but there was no possibility for him to agree his comeback.

What O Jogo is still to report is if this bid from Spartak Moscow is for a loan or a permanent deal. Adrien Silva has a contract with Leicester City running until 2021, and even though he’s just spent one and a half years on loan at Monaco, it seems unlikely the Foxes would let him walk for free this summer.
