Leicester City are looking to complete the deal for Udinese defender Molla Wague in the coming hours, according to claims in the Italian media. The Mali international looks set to become a Leicester City player after interest from other Premier League clubs.
Both Leicester City and Udinese will go through the finer details of the deal when contracts will be exchanged. It’s now expected Wague will become a Leicester City player as early as this morning.
Yesterday we covered reports from Italy that the transfer will initially be for a loan until the end of the current season, and Leicester City will have a right of redemption on the central defender.
Wague was also linked with Watford, Sunderland, West Ham United and Southampton in this transfer window.
