Leicester City are one of a number of clubs reportedly keen on Thorgan Hazard. The formerly Chelsea owned player is at Borussia Monchengladbach, and whilst his development at times hasn’t been as quick as he would hope, at 23 years old he’s still young enough to be considered a talented youngster.

Foot Mercato say Leicester City are keen, along with Sevilla. Atletico Madrid are also credited with an interest in Hazard, but it’s not thought to be an important track for them at the moment.

Borussia Monchengladbach are currently 13th in the Bundesliga table, a position considered not good enough, so a departure in January looks unlikely. A summer move would be more realistic and what happens between now and then will be decisive.

If Hazard goes on a brilliant run of form then more interest will circle, making it difficult for Leicester, and if he doesn’t then any interest the Foxes have may fade. A happy medium would make a Leicester transfer more likely.

Right now this seems to be rumours without much to back them up, it’ll be interesting to see if Leicester decide to send scouts regularly to watch Gladbach.
