Leicester City have joined the race for the AZ Alkmaar winger Oussama Idrissi, according to claims on Thursday.
Italian outlet Calcio Mercato says the Foxes have been the latest to make contact for the signing of the 23-year-old.
By doing this, they’re joining Premier League rivals Everton and West Ham in the competition for the player. AS Roma and Ajax are other clubs who are said to be keen on him.
Even though it’s reported that the Foxes have asked for information about the player, it doesn’t seem like Calcio Mercato knows how much would have to be paid in order to take Idrissi out of AZ.
Idrissi has been having a good season with AZ Alkmaar, with 16 goals and eight assists in 36 appearances for the club so far.
Signed from FC Groningen in 2018 for only €2m, the winger is already valued by Transfermarkt at €15m, and should be worth even more in the summer.
