Borussia Dortmund and Leicester City are pointed out today as the two clubs who could take Kike Saverio from Barcelona.

Catalan outlet Sport brings a piece saying the 20-year-old is one of the players who the La Liga side are struggling to negotiate a new contract with.

It’s said Barcelona have two reasons to keep him. First because he’s an important peace for their reserve squad. And also because of the attention that he’s been drawing from the Ecuador media.

But that hasn’t been enough to hold him at the club, since negotiations for his renewal are ‘practically broken’, according to the report.

Sport writes that Borussia Dortmund and Leicester City stand out as the main clubs who wish to sign the youngster. Since he’s edging towards the end of his contract, there’s nothing Barcelona can do to stop him from negotiating with these sides.

Despite his years at Barcelona’s academy, Saverio isn’t close to the first team and his experience has been with Barca B.
