Last week, Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur were mentioned as potential suitors for Udinese defender Thomas Kristensen.
German champions Bayer Leverkusen were also suggested as an interested party and more has now emerged about the situation around the 22-year-old defender.
Messaggero Veneto have reported that exits could be a problem for Udinese this month, even if manager Kosta Runjaic has made it clear that the club has no need to sell players in January.
Despite that, it is stated that Kristensen is being ‘literally stalked’ by Leicester City, who will have to pay about €16.5m to sign him, but that price tag doesn’t scare the Foxes at all.
While the report mentions that Tottenham and Leverkusen are also interested, they seem confident that it is Leicester City who are leading the race for the centre-back.
Kristensen’s exit will not be massive for Udinese by any means but the indication is that his loss will still impact the side, with the Dane having started three of the last four Serie A games for the club. He has made eight appearances in all competitions so far this season.
