Spanish newspaper La Razon have an article today on Real Madrid interest in two Villarreal players. The one which also brings interest from the Premier League is Samu Chukwueze.

Just 21-years-of-age, the attacker plays mainly on the right side and is considered a big talent for the future in Spain.

That would explain Madrid interest, but it’s also stated Leicester City, Everton, Wolves, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are ‘willing to bid’ for the player.

Liverpool and United are pushed out in front as the most serious competition for Zinedine Zidane’s side, partly because it’s thought they could both afford Chukwueze’s €80m buyout clause.

Such a transfer fee feels very ambitious for Villarreal, and it’s near certain clubs like Leicester, Everton and Wolves wouldn’t go near such a figure for him. Given Chelsea’s recent investment in their attack, a move from the Blues also feels unlikely at the €80m figure.

This could all be an effort to get the player’s name back into the rumour mill and build up hype ahead of the next summer window.
