Leicester City went on a special transfer mission on Friday evening, according to reports from France.
Foot Mercato writes that the Foxes had a scout at the match between Strasbourg and Paris Saint Germain, as they had two targets to watch.
One of them was striker Habib Diallo. He’s been one of the reasons his side is having such a good season, with 11 goals scored in Ligue 1 so far.
It’s claimed that Diallo’s good form has been drawing the eye of ‘some European teams’, and Leicester City are one of those who wanted to see the 26-year-old close.
The 18-year-old made his professional debut this season and only has four appearances for the first team so far. That was apparently enough to draw the interest from Leicester City, who wanted to observe him too.
Foot Mercato doesn’t make it clear if the Foxes have already engaged in talks for any of those signings yet.
