AC Milan’s Hakan Çalhanoğlu has emerged as a transfer target for Leicester City.
Calciomercato has a report on the playmaker with a headline that reads ‘Milan, an English club on Çalhanoğlu’.
Within the report, a short update mentions the Foxes are ‘always’ chasing the 25-year-old and it’s further claimed that Brendan Rodgers’ side ‘closely follow’ the Turkey international.
He’s managed three goals and an assist in 20 Serie A starts for Milan this season and has two more goals in the cup competitions.
Çalhanoğlu will have a year left on his contract at the San Siro after the end of this season and Milan could be forced to offload the attacker rather than allowing him to leave for nothing in the summer of 2021.
The Italian website doesn’t mention if the Premier League side are willing to submit a proposal for the player or if Çalhanoğlu is open to the idea of making a switch to the King Power Stadium in the summer.
On December 30th, another report from Calciomercato claimed Leicester had asked information about Çalhanoğlu.
