Having already signed a vast number of players from Belgium over the years, Leicester City are once again keeping an eye on the Jupiler Pro League for the future.
This comes courtesy of HLN in Belgium, who explain the Foxes, currently stagnating in mid-table in the Premier League, are keen on Charles De Ketelaere.
The youngster has been lighting up the league for Club Brugge over the past couple of seasons, and while some feel the player would fit at Manchester City like a glove, others feel a move to Leicester would be better suited for him.
Either way, Brendan Rodgers’ side are certainly interested, with it claimed they have the very versatile player ‘in their sights’.
The reason for that is they are ‘charmed by his talent, mentality and development’, and have been following the player ‘for some time’.
That’s why he is ‘on the list of potential reinforcements’, and all of this ‘should not come as a surprise’.
As mentioned above, Leicester have signed a number of Belgians over the years, as well as others from Belgian clubs, such as Youri Tielemans, Timothy Castagne, Dennis Praet or even Wilfried Ndidi.
The problem is where the Foxes are in the table, because if they stay outside of the European spots, there’s a chance De Keteleare may think twice about joining.
Something to think about.
